Biographical Text

Naomi is a scholar of British art, with a particular focus on biblical painting and illustration in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Her PhD was about William Blake's images of Christ. She joined the Hayley project while a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the John Rylands Research Institute, University of Manchester. Naomi was co-founder of the Manchester Centre for Correspondence Studies.

In 2020, Naomi moved to the British Library as Research Development Manager. Her role involves facilitating and supporting research projects and collaborations at the British Library, with a focus on projects involving Western Heritage Collections, Digital Scholarship and Research Infrastructure.
